In loving memory of lesley, a much loved Mum, Mum in Law, Sister, Sister in Law, Auntie, Nan, Soon to be Great Nan and friend whom we lost on christmas eve

We lost Lesley to sporadic Creutzfeldt–Jakob disease (CJD) which is one of the rarest and most devastating neurological disease that changes everything, terrifyingly fast. CJD doesn’t just take a person’s health, it takes their independence, their memories, their ability to communicate, and ultimately their life. Families are left watching someone they love fade away in a matter of weeks or months. In Lesley's case this was 5 weeks from when she was admitted to hospital and 2 weeks after her diagnosis that the disease took her from us all.

We have sent up this go fund me page to help relieve some of the financial burden on Lesley’s family. It will help to give her the send off she truly deserved.
