In memory of Kelly-Marie (Derick the Duck)

It's with deepest regrets that I have to say Kelly-Marie AKA Derick the Duck, has passed away after her long fight with cancer. Anyone who ever met her would never forget her. She was one of a kind. Some would describe Kelly as crazy but her love of life and fun touched so many hearts and so many lives. Even throughout the many rounds of chemo, Kelly always looked for the laughter and the humour in life. She was determined to enjoy life to the fullest and to make other people around her enjoy life too. She would do anything for anyone. She genuinely had so much compassion and love for everyone around her.

Kelly has left behind her heartbroken husband, her 2 sons and her brothers, as well as everyone who has met and been touched by her kindness and humour.

I was asked to set this Gofundme page up to help her two boys by putting money aside for their education. For those of you who don’t know, Aidan, Kelly’s eldest son, is about to go to university to study Sports Science. She was very proud of his achievements. Aidan says that he is doing this for her and wants to make her proud. I know just how proud she was of him, and of her younger son, Kian. She would sacrifice anything and everything for them and her lasting wish was to make their lives better and easier.

Any money that you’d be willing to donate that will help with the cost of Aidan’s university and will help to support Kian would be greatly appreciated by the family and by Kelly. Thank you.
