In Memory of Keith Rehrer - support for family

Keith Sanford Rehrer died peacefully in the arms of his wife on March 24, 2021 at their home in Downers Grove, IL after a courageous battle with cancer.

Keith was born on September 18th, 1976 in Northwest Indiana to Susan Hoffman Rehrer and the late Neil Sanford Rehrer. He was a 1995 graduate of Crown Point High School. Keith received his Bachelor of Business degree from Butler University where he was a member of Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity. It was there he met many of the friends who have remained in his life all these years.

Keith and his wife, Claudia, met as coworkers and their mutual love of sports soon turned into a wonderful and devoted marriage, despite their crosstown baseball rivalry. That love of sports is something they continued to share even as they welcomed Kyle and Lauren. The family keeps with them many happy memories of cheering on their favorite sports teams together.

Keith also enjoyed sharing his love of golf, water sports and family game nights. He happily devoted time to being a coach and helping Kyle with his scouting activities and was always happy to play dollies, soccer, or Legos with Lauren.

His family will warmly keep his memory alive as they continue to enjoy all his favorite activities in the years to come. In his final days, Keith was surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor his memory.

Keith is survived by his loving wife, Claudia, and his adoring children, Kyle and Lauren, and their loyal family dog, Olive.

The purpose of this go fund me to to help alleviate some of the financial stress that may come the family’s way. These funds will be passed on directly to Claudia to use for Kyle & Lauren’s benefit which includes funding college accounts for the children.
