La temporada navideña es un momento para reflexionar sobre nuestras bendiciones y unirnos en solidaridad y amor. Este año, nuestra familia está enfrentando una pérdida desgarradora. Debido a un trágico accidente automovilístico, el padre de mis hijos ya no está con nosotros para verlos crecer o ser parte de esos momentos especiales que tanto significaban para él.

Estamos tratando de navegar esta nueva realidad mientras mantenemos viva la alegría y la esperanza para mis pequeños. Por eso, estamos recaudando fondos para Juliette y Atlas con el propósito de cubrir gastos esenciales, crear recuerdos especiales y asegurar parte de su futuro.

This is the story of the unimaginable. A life event that you cannot prepare for. The immense loss of a person that was everything to his family. A person that sacrificed and cared for his children daily. A present Dad, a son, a big brother, a best friend, an adventurer and the love of my life.

My name is Allysha Garcia, the mother of Juliette (3 years old) and Atlas (1 year old). As any regular young and healthy family, Justin Veras and I were beginning our journey together to raise our little ones in a caring home. However, life had other plans. We experienced the unexpected, a tremendous loss. Justin, my partner and father of my children, passed away in a fatal car accident on 9/29/24. He was on his way to his mother's house with our son, Atlas, when he came in direct contact with a disabled tractor trailer on route I-95 near Fort Lee, NJ. God protected our son but was not able to save Justin.

As I am now a single mother of two, I can't say that I am not worried about what the future may look like for me and my children. Our daily routine has extremely changed as well as my financials. There's a lot of figuring out with this type of loss while grieving. This is why I created this page for Juliette and Atlas. To help ease a portion of the worries as my family navigates our new reality.

Justin will not be physically here to see our children grow through each milestone, but he has left a team of soldiers ready to take on the world for them. His memory will live on forever in our hearts. All donations, no matter how small, will be for them, for their future.
