In Memory of Joshua Leck: Support Shana and the Leck Family
Donation protected
We are heartbroken to share that Joshua Ryan Leck, a devoted husband, father, and friend, tragically passed away on February 7, 2025. His sudden passing has left an unimaginable void in the lives of his beloved wife, Shana, and their three children, Aaron, Elizabeth, and Eli.
Joshua was a man of deep faith, quiet strength, and unwavering kindness. He spent 23 years as a chemist at Pfizer while also serving as an ordained minister and a foster parent to many. Whether he was restoring Kansas prairies, tending to his animals, or sharing stories with his children, Joshua lived a life rooted in love, faith, and community.
After 25 years of marriage, Shana is navigating both profound grief and significant financial burdens. Shana has lived a life of service and selflessness. She is a spiritual director and recently started her first job as a hospice chaplain, a meaningful but newly established career outside of the home. Prior to this position, Shana homeschooled her children and obtained a Master of Arts in Theopoetics and Writing while also serving as a minister in their local church. Two of their children are currently in college, and this sudden loss has created unexpected financial strain.
As members of Shana’s spiritual direction community from the Souljourners program, we are reaching out to all who knew and loved Joshua and Shana to help provide stability and relief during this incredibly difficult time. Every donation, no matter the amount, will go directly to supporting Shana and the family as they navigate the days ahead.
We ask that you please share this campaign with others. Every act of kindness, whether through a donation, a prayer or a simple share, is deeply appreciated.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your generosity, prayers, love, and expressions of community.
