Instead of flowers, John’s family would be very grateful if anyone wishing to make a gesture in his memory would consider making a donation for his beloved sons, Caspian (age 11) and Orsino (age 7).

John was an amazing, complex, intelligent and very funny man, and above all, he was an incredibly proud father.

Before John and Nadia met, he had once thought that he might never become a father. Having Caspian and Orsino changed his life completely. He adored his boys and was immensely proud of them. They were at the very heart of everything for him.

John died far too young, after fighting an incredibly difficult illness with extraordinary courage. Throughout everything he faced, his family mattered enormously to him, and his love for his boys never wavered.

We have set up this page so that anyone who would otherwise have sent flowers can instead make a contribution for Caspian and Orsino. The intention is for these gifts to be something that can benefit the boys as they grow up, in their father’s memory.

There is absolutely no expectation to donate. Your presence, your kindness, your messages and simply remembering John mean more to us than we can say.
