We're excited to share that Anton Riddell and Laurence Edwards are taking part in the Tour De 4 charity ride — an event which has been set up and led by Sir Chris Hoy, who has tragically been diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer.

His intentions are to raise awareness, amongst those suffering from and those who have been affected by cancer.

We will be partaking in a 56 mile course which consists of nearly 4000 feet of climbing in some of Scotland's finest countryside, with climbs reaching gradients of up 10% to help keep us on our toes and with every chance of rain. But hopefully that will add to the experience and make our efforts all the more rewarding.

Having both lost our fathers to cancer, during those incredibly tough times, we recieved care and support from two incredible charities - MacMillan and Marie Curie.

They not only provided outstanding care and support for our dads, but for our families too. Marie Curie offered compassionate, hands-on end-of-life care, while Macmillan were a source of invaluable guidance and emotional support throughout the journey. We’re deeply grateful to both charities for the role they played during such difficult moments.

We're riding in memory of our fathers — to honour their strength, humour, and love — and to give back in a way that helps others going through the same. While this ride specifically raises money for MacMillan, it’s also a tribute to the incredible work done by Marie Curie, and by so many who support families dealing with cancer and loss.
