We have set up this fundraiser in loving memory of Ian Fletcher, a remarkable man who gave so much of his time, energy, and heart to his local community.

Ian was a dedicated volunteer with St Francis Scouts, where he played a hugely important role in supporting, guiding, and nurturing young people. Through his commitment, he helped children develop confidence, life skills, teamwork, and a strong sense of belonging.

For many of the young people at St Francis Scouts, Ian was a calm, trusted, and encouraging presence — someone who always had time to listen, offer guidance, and believe in their potential. His patience, kindness, and passion for helping others left a lasting impact on both the children and the wider community.

This fundraiser has been created to honour Ian’s legacy and to support St Francis Scouts, ensuring that the work he cared so deeply about can continue to benefit future generations.
