Gennaka and Elaine lost their beautiful mom Grace on March 5th after a 9+ year battle with early onset Alzheimer's. I am starting this gofundme for them because I have seen the struggles they have endured over the past few years trying to provide the best care they could for their mom and to keep her at home to live out her life surrounded by family and friends.

Grace was forced into early retirement due to her condition at 60 years old. And because she worked hard to save money throughout her life, she never was able to "qualify" for financial help with her medical needs and had to pay for everything out of pocket. Luckily, Elaine and Gennaka were able to come up with solutions to help make sure Grace could remain living at home without that financial help. However, the financial cost to care for Grace over the past 9 years has left the family with no more savings. 3 years ago, Elaine stopped working to care for Grace full-time, which also left their family on a tight and fixed income to care for Grace, themselves, and their twins...not to mention baby Emma being hospitalized last summer leaving the family with no income while Gennaka remained by Emma's hospital bedside for 2 months.

As you can see it has been a rough time for the Fox family so I started this gofundme to help them cover the costs of paying off Grace's remaining medical debts, as well as her cremation, and to provide a celebration of life for Grace so that her loved one's can say a final good-bye worthy of who Grace was.
