In memory of George Soto
Loving husband, dad, son, brother, and uncle passed away unexpectedly on June 29, 2020 after complications of rhabdomyolysis shortly after contracting and recovering from COVID-19
Jorge served 8 years in the Army Reserve with one tour in Afghanistan. Jorge worked at Teachout Security while pursuing a career in law enforcement. He made friends throughout life that became his family.
Jorge and and his wife Kaila were high school sweethearts and “finally” got married in 2018. They spent nearly 12 years building a life together, and recently became homeowners & parents.
Jorge recently became a father, to sweetViviene, who is the light of his life and she could not have asked for a better Dad.
Just two weeks after Viviene was born, Jorge contracted COVID-19. After a recovery, and 2 negative covid tests, Jorge was still experiencing some of the respiratory symptoms associated with the virus. After contracting Rhabdomyolisis, he was unable to recover.
With the money that is raised, it will go directly to his sweet daughter Viviene, and loving wife, Kaila. As they navigate this different path, it is important for them to be stable and for Viviene to be able to attend college later in life.
