In Memory of Garry Doctor of Final Pest Management
Donation protected
Summer Salt and Cemitas El Tigre started this campaign to benefit the family of Garry Doctor, our kind, hardworking and reliable exterminator, whose life was cut short as a result of Covid-19 on Sunday April 26, 2020.
A message from Garry's wife, Renee:
"Garry was a one man show when it came to his work. If the restaurants started calling, he was coming out. Most of the restaurants just wanted him to come in. They didn't want someone else. He started downsizing so he could do work by himself and with our son, and still maintain a home. It was actually less stress for him.
He started out working for an extermination company that mostly did residential, and maybe some restaurants. He went out on his own to do restaurants. He told me, I think I can do this.
I was never involved in the business in person. I did the invoices, that's it. Garry knew every restaurant and its problems off the top of his head.
Garry was a wonderful husband, father, son, brother and friend. His concern was his family. Not only his loved ones, but his work family as well.
Garry got infected with the Covid 19 because when it first came out we as a country were not totally aware of how to protect ourselves. Garry was out almost everyday at the stores to make sure our home was full of food and supplies. Not only our home, but his restaurants as well. He told me, Nae, This thing is getting serious. Let me go out and take care of as much as I can before it gets really bad."
We offered to make this GoFundMe page to support Garry's survivors -- his wife Renee, a son and two daughters. They need your help as they continue to struggle through this devastating pandemic. For those who knew or worked with Garry, we ask that you consider making a donation to this campaign, and encourage you to please share it with others who may have known Garry or his family. Garry's body will be buried in his home state of South Carolina Saturday, May 2, 2020. Thank you for everything Garry. You are a special soul and will not be forgotten.
