We are Artists for Gaza, a collective of UK cultural workers raising funds in solidarity with the Palestinian people. This fundraiser is in memory of Finbar Sullivan (2005–2026), son of our founder Chris Sullivan, who was 21 years old. Fin filmed every Artists for Gaza event — quietly, behind the camera, bearing witness to history. He believed the world needed more love, empathy, and humility.

Artists for Gaza returns to Scala, King's Cross, London on September 27th, 2026, for our fifth fundraising event. If you can't make it on the day, you can donate to two important projects in Fin's memory.

Finbar's Memorial Garden

In August 2026, the children of Solid Bond School in a Gaza refugee camp planted a garden. One young tree and twenty shrubs and plants were set in the ground, each symbolising a year of Finbar’s short life. With their hands in the sand, the children gave something lasting: a place of colour and growth amid so much loss. Solid Bond's children will keep the garden watered and growing alongside every plant they placed in his honour.

With enormous gratitude to Paul and Hannah Weller, who helped make this memorial garden possible, and to Gaza Go Bragh (Gaza Forever), the grassroots humanitarian initiative delivering clean water, shelter, food, and medical supplies to displaced families in Gaza, and who cared for every detail in planting Fin's Garden. Every seed planted there gives children something rare right now — a moment of joy, a reason to hope, and a small act of care that helps them heal.

The Gaza Formula Fund

We are also raising for the Gaza Formula Fund, a registered charity that, in partnership with the UK charity Small Steps Project, has already delivered over 5,300 tins of formula and 4,078 packs of nappies to tent camps, hospitals, and families with nowhere else to turn. Due to the ongoing blockade of aid into Gaza, a single tub of formula now costs over $100 and is out of reach for most parents. Babies without formula or breastmilk face starvation and malnutrition.

Fin cared deeply about the children of Gaza, and donations raised here in his memory will go directly to these projects.

Whether or not you can join us at Scala, you can be part of this — donate here to help Fin's Garden take root and grow, and to help Gaza's youngest children get the nourishment and healing they need.

Please give what you can. If you can't give, please share this page.
