Ian peacefully slipped away on 14 August. Beloved husband of Eileen Lindley MBE for 66 years, much-loved father of Alister, Jeremy, Justine, and Matthew, and a devoted grandfather.

Ian served 25 years in the Royal Air Force, receiving the Queen’s Commendation and Jubilee Medal honour. In later years, he dedicated his life to helping others as a foster carer, prison visitor, and in the regeneration of Doncaster.

Throughout his life, Ian supported The Gurkha Welfare Trust, and any donation will help make an impact.
