In Memory of Dr Karamat Mirza
We are raising money in memory of the late Dr Karamat Mirza, who devoted his life to helping others both here and overseas. He was a highly respected GP in the NHS for 54 years - 45 of those years he dedicated himself to his much loved community of Clacton-on-Sea.
Dr Mirza, who was thought to be the oldest NHS worker, sadly lost his life at the age of 84 in May 2020 - after contracting COVID. The outpouring of love and affection following his death was clearly displayed when hundreds of people lined the streets of Clacton to pay their respects. To see more, please click on links below;

We are raising money for two worthy charities which were close to his heart, namely UNICEF and The Salvation Army.
"UNICEF works in over 190 countries and territories to save children's lives, to defend their rights, and to help them fulfil their potential, from early childhood through adolescence. UNICEF has helped reduce child mortality all over the world by working to reach the most vulnerable children, everywhere"
The Salvation Army provides support and assistance to those who find themselves in difficult times, offering food, clothing and shelter to those most vulnerable.
Your donation will make a difference to the lives of those in the UK and around the world.
