In Memory of Donald and Maria Nunney: Support for Their Kids

We are heartbroken to be writing this. On Friday, August 15th, the Nunney family experienced a tragedy due to a tragic car accident that took the lives of Donald and Maria Nunney. Their two youngest children, Lucia and Leo, were passengers who survived and are healing from major trauma and injuries.
Our family has created this GoFundMe to support the children of our beloved Donald and Maria: Noah (19), Diego (18), Lucia (15), and Leo (9). These four incredible kids are facing an unimaginable loss. As their family, we want to do everything we can to make sure their needs are cared for and their futures protected.
Maria and Donald were more than amazing and loving parents. They were also a devoted son and daughter, siblings, caring teachers, and friends. They gave so much of themselves to their students and their community.
This fund will go directly toward supporting Noah, Diego, Lucia, and Leo with whatever they may need. It will also help cover costs for arrangements for Maria and Donald. Every contribution, no matter the size, eases some of the weight these children are carrying.
We know that not everyone is able to give financially. Please know that your thoughts and prayers are just as meaningful to us.
Maria and Donald leave behind a legacy of community, family, and love, all rooted in the devotion they had for their children and their family. That legacy will live on through Noah, Diego, Lucia, and Leo, who carry forward the very best parts of who their parents were.
