In Memory of David LaPre: Support His Family

My Name is Jesse LaPre, I'm the son of David Anthony LaPre. I'm creating this because my father unfortunately passed away from a car accident Tuesday afternoon November 11, 2025 coming home from where he worked at Baylor Heart Hospital as a Maintenance Engineer. Words can't explain the emotions my brothers and I are feeling during this very difficult time. He loved what he did for work and he loved the conversations people would have with him. Growing up wasn't easy for my Dad as he faced countless challenges. Despite it all, he still never gave up. He was one hell of guy to know and was always there to lift you out of the dark if you let him. He grew up closed off as a child but growing up as a man he began to love and comfort those around him. Pureness is what my dad loved. He didn't like negativity and always strived to do better than he did the day before. He Loved God like no other and he loved his boys. My brothers and I will always miss his laugh and his determination. He always made sure things were taken care of. My dad was a man who you could count on and always look forward to seeing. It did not matter what the weather was like, or if his day was a bad day, he was always there for you to make sure you were okay . As for work, he always made sure to give 110% no matter what day he was having. He always strived for excellence and never once wanted to be recognized for it . He took care of things for people because he knew it was the right thing to do. My dad was the type of man that if you applauded him or congratulated him he looked lost, but understand that my father never received that when he was younger as a kid or even as a young man. It was all a shock to him but he was always very grateful. He didn't know how to show it but I remember him telling me it would always catch him off guard when people would ask how he was and showed sincerity towards him.
He was a "walk by faith" man and did everything he could out of the kindness of his heart. Selfless, humble, strong-willed and brave are ways to describe his character, amongst many other things.
He was the family man any family would want to have to be that solid support and foundation.
If you knew David, you would know the impact he would have left on your life.
He fulfilled every duty as a Father to myself and my brothers. All that we are today and all that we will be in the future is from him. A warrior mindset, a soft yet tough soul, a loving Grandpa, and even more, a wonderful Father.
Nothing can prepare you for a loss of a parent. As we go through this together, we understand that hard moments create solid foundations.
David's legacy will forever live on through myself and my brothers.

God is forever great, wonderful and will always provide. My father knew that, and we surely understand that. We thank you for anything you're willing to give, and may God bless you.

He is proceeded by his sister Jennifer LaPre and his son Marcelo LaPre

He is survived by his spouse Angelica LaPre, and his sons Justin, Brennan, Isaiah, Jesse, and Christian; parents Frank and Kathryn LaPre; brother Daniel LaPre, sister Meghan LaPre-Benning, and her husband Mike, and grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

My dad was a man of limited means so any donations would be appreciated to help cover any expenses of his passing, as well as your prayers. A celebration of his life may be done at a later date.
Thank you, David will be missed.
