Two years ago I lost my step dad Colin Nunn. In his final days, Prospect Hospice cared for him with a level of compassion, dignity, and warmth that I will never forget. They didn’t just look after Colin — they looked after our entire family through one of the hardest periods of our lives. The support they provided was extraordinary, and it’s something I will always be grateful for.
This fight is my way of giving something back.
But there’s another side to this story. At my heaviest I weighed nearly 180kg. Over the past few years I have completely transformed my life, losing over 50kg through hard work, consistency, and a genuine love for fitness that I never thought I’d find. Training has become a huge part of who I am — and stepping into a boxing ring on 14th November feels like the ultimate challenge to push myself further than I ever have before.
I’m doing this for Colin. I’m doing this for Prospect Hospice. And I’m doing this to prove to myself that the person I’ve become is capable of anything.
Every penny raised goes directly to Prospect Hospice — a charity that provides the only dedicated palliative care in Swindon and the surrounding area, supporting patients and families through the most difficult times of their lives.
Please donate whatever you can. No amount is too small. Help me make Colin proud.
Thank you.
