On July 4, 2025, Colin Michaud left us way too soon. His impact on this world, like his personality, was big and will be felt by many years to come. He left his mark. Colin knew what and who was important, and he made sure he let everyone know. Anyone who knew Colin, knew how passionate he was about his family and had very strong convictions. He believed in hard work, working toward your goals, and earning what you worked for. For such a young man, he was able to see the big picture and spent every day working toward it.
Colin believed in the trades. As he was following in his father’s footsteps to become an Electrician, he shared his passion of electrical and the trades with anyone who would listen. Colin was lucky enough to go to Porter and Chester Institute and had his Dad as his Instructor. With his Dad working at the school this meant no loan was needed and Colin paid for what he had to on his own. When his best friend since kindergarten Anthony Luzmoor finished high school, he went on the college and decided instead he might like to try a trade. Colin was excited by that and helped him find his path to HVAC. Through Colin and his Dad, Anthony found the right school and Colin helped Anthony as best he could realize his potential and was his biggest supporter. As Colin often was for the people in his life.
Anthony graduated from Entech Advanced Training in May of 2023 and began working in HVAC. Colin was extremely proud.
Anthony and Colin spent the 4th of July together and was with him until the end. While we know we can never bring his friend back to him, or truly help in his grief from this sudden loss, we do know that Colin would have wanted to make sure Anthony had a solid future with no worry. That was important to him.
With so many people reaching out to see how they could help, we thought it fitting that we honor Colin in the best way we know how, by helping people. We’d like to start by helping Anthony pay off his student loan. Any amount you would be willing to give would be greatly appreciated.
