It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Christine Hope, loving wife mother grandmother and friend to many.

Christine fought her illness with strength and dignity over the past two years.

Christine loved life and lived it to the full sharing many memories with her husband Keith and children and grandchildren. Nothing phased Chris and this illness certainly wasn’t going to subdue her last few years allowing her to spend precious time with friends and family. Christine’s dry wit brought many a smile and will be remembered for an eternity for those that knew her.

Christines family would like to thank Overgate Hospice for their dedicated staff who lovingly cared for Christine in her final days showing dignity and compassion at its greatest.

To honour Christines memory her former son in law Damieon Hartley-Pickles is to run the Warrington Half Marathon on 21st September 2025 his 96th Marathon and all proceeds raised will go straight to Overgate Hospice to continue helping the continued support that Overgate offers to families in difficult times of palative care.
