In Memory of Chaprice Washington, mother of 3

My name is Michelle and I am reaching out to raise funds to help my brother-in-law (Kevin Norman) and sister (Dawn Pinnock) as they lay their daughter to rest and care for her children.

The night before Thanksgiving (November 23rd), our family was struck by an unimaginable tragedy; the sudden death of Chaprice Washington. Chaprice and her children lived in Columbus, Ohio. She was a single mom of 3 children; ages 6, 7 and 13.

Overnight, the children lost their mother and their entire lives were uprooted. Also, overnight, in addition to dealing with the unbearable loss of their child, my brother-in-law and sister’s household doubled as they have opened their home in NYC and hearts to care for Chaprice’s 3 children to keep them safe, stable and together.

There is no life insurance policy and the children came into their lives that night with little more than the clothes on their backs.

Please help me help them. They have a long journey ahead as they first plan (and pay for) their daughter’s funeral services and simultaneously figure out how to house, feed, clothe, and educate the children as well as help them heal.
