In memory of Cameron Gabriel Johnson

On August 1st, 2023, our family was devastated and heart broken to hear the news that my 3 month old nephew, Cameron, would no longer be with us. His parents Jeff and Rachel (my little sister) had spent many endless days and nights in the NICU by his side with high hopes that he would pull through after he was found not breathing several days before. Unfortunately, after the team of doctors and nurses Lurie Hospital did everything they could, he just wasn't able to pull through, although he was a super strong little man and stayed with his mommy and daddy much longer than they thought possible. They were able to hold him as he went to be our little guardian angel.

This gofundme page is not only in memory of this beautiful baby boy we were blessed with having apart of our lives, but it is also in hopes that we can help this family grieve without the extra added burden of medical or living expenses while they are off work. As a mother, I firmly believe it's wrong to outlive our children. It's one of those things that should just NEVER happen. This is one of those things you hear happen to other people but are never prepared for it to happen to you. There is no way to prepare a family for such a loss, especially 4 young boys who don't understand why there little brother is no longer here.
