"You were the finest, loveliest, tenderest, and most beautiful person I have ever known - and even that is an understatement"
-F. Scott Fitzgerald
Brittany Aragon was a wonderful person who captivated the attention of every room she entered. Always bringing more and elevating the experience of others. She loved history, music, dancing, art, mystery, good food, poetry, a crazy dive bar, drag shows, and chasing down new experiences. She believed in equality and justice for every person; always choosing principles over personal gain in her career. She was a talented artist, a gifted therapist, and a loving mother. She sadly and unexpectedly passed away on July 12, 2025 at the age of 36.
I am lucky enough to have had Brittany in my life for the better part of ten years. She was inspiring and loving and changed me, my life, and my outlook in more ways than I can count. I can only imagine how she affected those who knew her longer than I.
Brittany is survived by her parents, her brother, and her two year old daughter Amaryllis. Baby A has taken after her mother in many ways, including her love of music and dancing. Amaryllis loved playing with her mom every day she could, listening to her read bedtime stories, coloring pictures with her, and laughing at the silliest of nothings at every opportunity.
If you would like to honor Brittany's memory, please know that your thoughts, stories, and prayers are most welcome. For those who would also like to help support her daughter's future in ways that she is no longer able to, please feel free to contribute here.
I hope you are all able to cherish the time you spent with Brittany, and will let your shared experiences bring you joy in times of sadness.
