This is hands down the hardest thing I have ever had to do. On Wednesday, July 17th, Billy fell ill. My mom rushed him to the emergency room, where he was diagnosed with pneumonia and sepsis. In that moment our whole lives changed. Billy was admitted to the ICU that night and placed on a ventilator the following afternoon, and soon after, septic shock set in. Billy has put up such a strong fight, but unfortunately, we have had to say our goodbyes to one of the greatest, most loved men on this planet. To know Billy is to love Billy, as he had a heart of gold and the warmest personality. Even in the most serious of situations, he could crack a joke and make you feel at peace.

I’m creating this to help my mom, his true love, figure out this life without her soul mate. To cover hospital bills, and to be able to stay afloat during this extremely difficult time. If anyone knew the story of Lisa and Billy, they knew that these two were meant to be. As different as night and day, but they went together like a puzzle piece. My mom has remained so strong this past week for Billy, for me, for my kids. She would hold me as I broke down at the thought of losing my Billiam, at the thought of my children losing their best friend…their Pops. She has stayed strong for everyone back home, and made sure to keep the whole family and all of Billy’s friends updated the best she could, and barely took any time for herself. The least I can do for her is try to help her worry less about finances. I know times are tough, so if you can’t donate please share.
