Beverly Jane Bona (Gosnell) age 74 of Denver, Colorado passed away peacefully on July 23, 2024 after declining health. Beverly was born September 9, 1949 to Henry Carter Gosnell Sr. and Hilda Mae Gosnell (Harris) in Clarksville, Arkansas and resided in Ozark, Arkansas. After graduating Ozark High School in 1967, she attended St. Vincent School of Nursing in Little Rock, Arkansas, where she earned a Registered Nurse degree. She spent her 40-year career as a general surgical nurse working in various hospitals in Arkansas and Colorado.
Beverly met Donald James Bona in Little Rock, married in 1971 and had a daughter, Amy Elizabeth Bona. She and Amy moved to Gunnison, Colorado in 1979, where she pursued her love of fishing, snow skiing, tennis and enjoyed the beautiful rocky mountain weather. After retirement, Beverly continued her unique creativity, making many arts and crafts for family and friends.
Beverly is preceded in death by her mother and father, Hilda and Henry. She is survived by her beloved daughter and close companion, Amy Bona (Fort Collins, Colorado), brothers Henry Carter (Debbie) Gosnell (Little Rock, Arkansas) and Frank Brian Gosnell (Denton, Texas), nieces, nephews, friends and her precious parakeet Delilah, who now resides with Amy.
