We’re Kendahl and Tim, the founders of the Undercover Santa fundraiser—an initiative dedicated to bringing holiday joy to children in need.

This year, we’re honored to dedicate our efforts to Kendahl’s cousin, Bailey, who passed away from cancer earlier this year. Bailey was a beautiful, giving soul who supported Undercover Santa wholeheartedly over the years. We carry on this work in her memory.

Our Journey Began in 2020

During the pandemic, we witnessed a growing need for toys as many families faced financial hardship. Wanting to help, we began collecting donations from friends and family to buy toys for kids in our community. What started as a small effort quickly grew beyond anything we imagined. In just one week, we raised $5,400 from 70 generous donors! Tim’s employer, A2P, contributed an additional $1,500. With these funds, we purchased 336 toys—spreading joy to dozens of children on Christmas morning. Our story was picked up by Jessica Swarner, a reporter at The Copper Courier, who has continued to follow our journey each year.

2021: Raised $7,200 | A2P donated $3,000 | 449 toys purchased

2022: Raised $10,400 | A2P donated $6,000 | 720 toys purchased

2024: Raised $18,170 | A2P donated $6,000 | 1,235 toys purchased
