In memory of Axel

Sometimes your heart needs more time to accept, what your mind already knows. Loss just doesn't feel real sometimes. One moment to the next..reality changes. I still can't believe I am writing this about Axel. Axel was such an amazing soul. To his friends, He always said ..."your family", and we believed it. To know him was to love him. Few people in life are as selfless as Ax was and one thing is for sure, there is nothing He loved more than Lilah.

On August 28th we celebrated his daughter Lilah's 7th birthday. It was a small gathering of family with food and games and laughter. The day was picture perfect, until tragedy struck. That same evening Axel suffered a massive heart attack, which took his life and left behind his now orphaned daughter Lilah.

Our reality was flooded with disbelief, and questions, and .....memories. I made this go fund me for this beautiful family that is now grappling with this unimaginable grief. They are our closest friends and we are all still in complete shock.

No amount of money can ever relieve them of their pain but I can't help but feeling I just want to do anything to help. They deserve the time they need to grieve without any financial burden. If you can help please donate, any amount helps and will be appreciated during this difficult time.
