In memory of Anthony Platton - Supporting Cancer Research

On the 9th of July 2025, our Dad, Anthony Platton, passed away after a long, courageous battle with T-cell lymphoma. He was 65 years old.

He spent the last few months of his life in hospital, undergoing four rounds of chemotherapy and two operations. He faced every stage of the illness with strength and determination. Despite everything he endured, he never lost his sense of humour, his love for his family or his deep commitment to helping others.

Our Dad was the kind of man who quietly made a difference. He volunteered for over 14 years with CIPD, eventually becoming Chair of the North Yorkshire branch. He co-founded a HR consultancy from scratch, worked on national assessment systems and cared deeply about fairness and dignity in the workplace. He was also our biggest supporter - whether it was listening to our woes or encouraging us through our worst days, he was always there.

T-cell lymphoma is a rare and aggressive form of cancer that still doesn't get the attention or research funding it desperately needs. We're raising funds for Cancer Research in his memory, to help improve treatment and outcomes for those diagnosed in the future.

Whether you knew our dad or simply want to help, any donation - big or small - means the world. Let's honour the life of someone who gave back so much, by giving something back.

Thank you for your support.
