In Memory of Alex: Support for Kristin and Amelia

Donation protected
Our beloved son, father, soulmate, brother, and friend Alex Coraci passed away on February 2, 2025. Alex was 35 years old and was out for a walk in the early evening of January 29th when he was fatally struck by a car while crossing a well-lit road. Alex and the two loves of his life- his fiancee and partner of over a decade, Kristin, and his amazing 2-year-old daughter, Amelia (mealie, meal, and most recently “me”) - were partially moved into a new home that they had spent weeks renovating, and they were set to move in fully the next day. They were full of hope and excitement. This loss is cruel, unfair, and one we will never fully heal from.

We appreciate all of the love and support that you have shown us in this devastating time, and many of you have asked about sending flowers or other physical forms of support. Thank you so much for thinking of us. Instead, we ask that you contribute to this GoFundMe to support Kristin and Amelia now and in the future; funding will be used to help Kristin and Amelia to get back on their feet and to start a college fund for Amelia. We have no doubt that this is what Alex would have wanted. We understand if you are not in a position to donate money, or if this does not feel like an appropriate way of showing support to you.

We also ask that you do not ask details about what happened at this time. We are all living and breathing this tragedy and need time to process. We promise we will reach out if and when we are ready to speak about Alex.

We will have a celebration of life for Alex and have reached out to those closest to him, but we may have missed people. Please reach out via GoFundMe if you were close to Alex but have not heard from us. Additionally, we are collecting letters of positive memories, special things about Alex, etc. to give to Amelia when she gets older. We never can fully know a person, and with your help we can give Amelia as much as we can about her loving dad. Whether or not you are able to donate or attend the celebration of life, if you do have something happy to share, please reach out via GoFundMe and we will send an email address/address to sent the letters to and will make sure that Amelia receives the letters.

Tell the people in your life that you love them. Drive carefully. We love you.
