In Memory of Alan Kerner: The Lane Train's Father

Beloved Jake Asman Show caller Lane Kerner, better known as “The Lane Train,” recently suffered the devastating loss of his father, Alan Kerner, who passed away from a heart attack.

The ASMANIAC community has always stepped up in times of need, and now we’re coming together to support Lane, his mother Suzanne Eagle, and the entire Kerner family during this difficult time.

Below is a heartfelt message from Lane’s mother, Suzanne:

"Lane Kerner and Alan Kerner were the best of friends in the world. Sports fans and the most loving father and son. I am so very heartbroken to lose my husband and to lose the best friend my son will ever have. My guys shared every detail of every trade of every move impeccably together with wild enthusiasm. There will never be a father and son like this again and my only hope is that Lane feels Alan at every moment throughout the rest of his life." -Suzanne Eagle
