Friday 14 August 2026 began like any other day during the school holidays; children excited and ready for new adventures. But for one Swindon family, that Friday became a day no parent should ever face.

A mother went to wake her twin boys, expecting to find them bright and ready for the morning. Instead, she found that one of her little boys had slipped away in his sleep. Just hours earlier, she had tucked a happy, healthy two‑year‑old into bed. By morning, he was gone forever.

His brothers, aged 10, 5, and his twin, (who has Down’s syndrome) all witnessed the heartbreak, and confusion of that unimaginable moment.

The little boy was Kylan, just 2 years old. A funny, mischievous, curious toddler who loved exploring the world around him. He was surrounded by love, and although his time here was heartbreakingly short, he has left a lasting imprint on every heart that knew him.

This fundraiser has been created to support Kylan’s family with funeral costs, emotional support for his young brothers, and practical help for his mother as they navigate life after such a devastating loss.
