In Memory: A Bench for a Softball Hero

Hello, I am Emily Maynard, and John Erb was man and asset lost too soon. He touched my daughter's life as he did many others over all his years in the softball community.

I think it would be wonderful to have an "in memoriam" bench installed at Midway Park in his name. This was his second home, whether he was coaching, watching, or eating at his favorite sushi restaurant.

I am in touch with the park and discussing placement. Let's leave him a piece of heaven where he can sit and soak up the beautiful sunrise's and sunset's that come with ballpark life, and a place for all whose lives he touched, where they can sit a spell and enjoy the game we call softball.

If more than the needed amount is raised the remainder will be given to his daughter.
