The sudden death of Martyn Pearson and Alex Olsen is devastating. Martyn Pearson and Alex Olsen were the best of people. They were community-oriented, healthy, joyful, and fully present for this life. They loved each other and their families and their friends- they were giving of their time and support to all they met. The loss of them has created an incomprehensible hole in Silver City and its far-reaching tendrils. Hovering around 40, their lives were cut short when they were still reaching the mountain top. Whether on a bike or foot, in a pool, kitchen, classroom, the audience of a Broadway show, football (soccer) match or bike race, behind a podcast mic, drum kit, or shop counter, in the mountains or desert or a city or by the sea Martyn and Alex had so much more to experience and share with this world.

Funds generated here will help the lives of the children – 15-year-old Addison and 14-year-old Zeyah, their mother, Melissa Woods, and all remaining family and animals. Living life without Martyn and Alex will be the most challenging thing this family will ever have to do, and your financial support will create some ease in a time of total heartbreak.
