In Loving Support of Doaa Badawi Children

On May 26th, Doaa Badawi lost her long battle with cancer. She was a delightful person, a dedicated and loving mother, and an egyptologist, a job she completely loved. She uplifted everyone she met and made them feel like family.

It is beyond sad that Doaa left behind her two beloved children, Salma and Saged. We know this must have broken her heart in ways we can only imagine.

Doaa was very bonded with her sisters, and they will be taking over the care for her children now. Because of the situation in Egypt, Doaa’s sisters are not allowed to access the funds Doaa left behind. So we are asking all that knew Doaa, to help support her beautiful children in a way that will help them to continue to thrive.
