In Loving Memory of Yan
Donation protected
How do you put into words something so tragic and intense that a whole community is shaken and brought to tears. So many memories are flooding and hearts are exploding with emotions. Only a person who touched so many could do that. Yan had that affect on people. People loved him. He was there for everyone. Always happy. Always trying to help someone in some way. He was so kind, caring, excited to live life and always so sincere. He had big plans and an amazing future. He was a good soul and those that knew him in some way were truly lucky.
Yan was a great son, a caring husband, a loyal friend, a great brother and most importantly an absolutely incredible father.
On Friday, March 26th, Yan lost his battle to Colon Cancer. Yan fought hard until the very last moments, where he selflessly asked
others how they were doing with whatever strength he had. Because that was Yan.
Yan had so many different roles in life but what made him proud was being a dad. He did it all for Avie and Sasha. He washed bottles, changed diapers, gave bubble baths and loved his girls so so deeply. He was immensely proud they were his and gleamed whenever he shared something new they did or said.
To think these girls will never get to see how much their father loved them is unimaginable, but we are all going to make sure they feel that love always and are reminded of how much they were wanted and adored by him.
We would love to put together a way to make sure Avie and Sasha are leading a life as Yan would have wanted and done for them.
