With heavy hearts, we share the sudden and unexpected passing of our beloved brother, Vaea Tulikihihifo Jr., on January 7, 2026, in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Our family is still in shock as we try to process this heartbreaking loss. Jr was taken from us far too soon, and there are no words to fully express the pain of losing someone so deeply loved.
On that night, Jr. stepped outside for a brief moment to take care of his family—something he did every day without hesitation. What should have been a simple, ordinary act of love became a moment that forever changed our lives.
Jr. was a man of God—a hardworking provider with the biggest heart. He loved deeply, gave selflessly, and always showed up for others no matter what he was facing himself. Even when he had little, he gave his all. His faith guided the way he lived, loved, and served those around him.
He was a devoted husband and a loving father to 12 beautiful children, who were the center of his world. One of his children is currently serving a full-time LDS mission, making this season even more difficult for the family as they grieve while separated by distance. He leaves behind his wife, who is now facing the unimaginable task of raising their children without the man who loved them so fiercely.
He was truly the life of the party wherever he went—always ready to dance, always bringing joy and laughter. His goofy personality and his one-of-a-kind, loud laugh could light up any room, and those memories will stay with us forever.
This GoFundMe has been created to help support his wife and children during this incredibly difficult time. Funds raised will help cover funeral and memorial expenses, immediate living needs, and ongoing support for the family as they navigate life without their husband and father.
Any donation, no matter the amount, is deeply appreciated. If you are unable to donate, we ask for your prayers. Your love and kindness mean more than words can express.
Thank you for helping us honor the life and legacy of Vaea Tulikihihifo Jr.—a God fearing man, a devoted husband and father, a brother, and a friend who will forever live in our hearts.
