In Loving Memory of Unicorn Princess MaKaya Dixon

Thursday April 30th, 4 year old MaKaya was critically injured in a car crash caused by a man high on drugs who fled the scene of the accident. Her tiny body could not sustain her injuries, and she lost her battle Monday May 4th at 9:34 AM.  In the face of the most devastating tragedy any parent could ever experience, my cousin Amanda (MaKaya’s mother) chose to give the gift of life and MaKaya has already saved 3 lives with organ donation. Her father, who was the driver of the vehicle MaKaya was in, is still in critical condition. He is fighting for his life in a medically induced coma. Amanda now has the difficult task of laying her baby to rest while worrying if her husband is going to pull through.  Any help with funeral expenses and mounting medical expenses for her husband’s ongoing care is greatly appreciated. Amanda also has two other children to care for. MaKaya loved pink, purple and all things unicorn. She was full of life & love, and will be greatly missed.  I am hoping we can offer love and support through making her financial burden less overwhelming.
