Hi friends and family,
My name is Brea. I'm the older sister of Dildanges, who some of you may have known as Serenne.
Dildanges tragically passed away on the afternoon of Tuesday, July 29th, 2025, in a car accident alongside her new husband of only 22 days, Casey. She had also just celebrated her 23rd birthday on July 5th. They were driving from Washington to Texas, and on the second day of their journey, in Farmington, NM, they were on a two-lane highway when a reckless driver attempted to pass another vehicle. That driver crossed into the opposite lane, where Dildanges and Casey were driving, and hit them head-on.
Dildanges was behind the wheel and tried to steer away to avoid the oncoming car, but there was no shoulder on the highway. The investigation is still ongoing, and we are hoping and expecting criminal charges to be filed against the other driver.
Dildanges was so excited to start her new life in Texas with her husband, and that life was unfairly taken from both of them.
Our family is still reeling from this devastating loss. We’re asking our friends, family, and community to help us during this time of need to cover funeral expenses and offer financial support as we navigate the difficult weeks ahead. Any donation is greatly appreciated. Thank you so much.

*We’ve updated the GoFundMe goal to show the estimated amount needed for my sister’s funeral, transporting her to Palau, and related expenses. The page was previously using an automated goal system that adjusted itself, which we felt might be confusing.
**We understand there may have been some confusion from recent news reports stating this fundraiser is for both Dildanges and Casey to be transported to Palau. We want to kindly clarify that this fundraiser is specifically for Dildanges (Serenne). Thank you for your understanding and support during this time.
