Our family lost an incredible man recently. My uncle, Robert Whaley, passed away after a tough battle with stage 4 lung cancer. He was a strong, caring, and hilarious man right up until the end. His wife, Marie Whaley, was by his side every step of the way, caring for him with so much love and strength.

Marie and Robert (commonly known as Bob) were married for 31 years, and together for 44, and they built a life together that was full of love, laughter, and memories. Losing him has left such a huge hole in her heart and in our whole family.

Unfortunately, with no life insurance and limited financial support available until any type of benefits are processed, Marie is now facing significant financial stress on top of her grief. Bobs cheques were the main source of income for Marie and their dogs. This fundraiser is to help her find stability and relief during this incredibly difficult time and to cover costs of the burial, daily expenses, bills, and the costs that come with losing the person who she shared her life with for more than four decades.
