There are moments in life that leave us without words. This is one of them.
Our beloved sister, daughter, friend, and faithful believer unexpectedly went home to be with the Lord, leaving behind her devoted husband and their five precious children.
To know Miranda was to know kindness. She loved deeply, read voraciously, welcomed people with open arms, and somehow carried the beautiful chaos of raising and homeschooling five children with a patience that was unmatched to anyone you’ve ever met. She was the steady heartbeat of her home and the quiet strength of her community.
When tragedy struck someone else’s family, she was often one of the first to organize meals, offer comfort, prayers, and make sure no one walked through hardship alone.
Now, it is our turn to surround hers.
She and her husband, Eddie, were high school sweethearts who built a beautiful life rooted in faith, laughter, and family. While she lovingly cared for their home and children, he faithfully worked full time to provide for them, always making sure that when he came home, he was fully present. He is the kind of goofy dad who fills the house with laughter, who plays, and makes his children feel deeply loved.
In a single day, their world changed forever.
Right now, our greatest hope is to give this family something that cannot be replaced once it’s gone: time.
Time for a husband to grieve the love of his life.
Time for five children to begin understanding life without their mama.
Time to comfort one another, establish new routines, and slowly find their footing on a path none of them ever imagined they would have to walk.
