In Loving Memory of Melina. Support for our Family
Donation protected
On April 22nd, 2025, our world changed forever. We said goodbye to my beloved wife, Melina, after her courageous battle with cancer. She was the heart of our family, kind, strong, and endlessly loving. She was my absolute Best Friend. Her absence leaves a space no words can fill, but her spirit lives on in our Living son, Sebastian, who meant everything to her.
I met Melina on September 19th, 2016.. just two days after blowing out my birthday candles and wishing for happiness. Then there she was, so happy and full of possibilities, she completely stole my heart and I never looked back. We so quickly fell in love and started building a life. Our all time favorite thing was traveling and experiencing new food and places together.. a hobby that Sebastian and I will forever continue.
Melina had a rough start to life and she never really caught a break.. In and out of the Foster care system, finding her forever family just to Lose her parents at a pretty young age. Losing her best friend/Sister Tess to Cancer and then tragically Losing our Angel Boys, Ethan and Sawyer. Melina was no stranger to pain and suffering, and even though all she had been through prepared her for this fight.. we could not have foreseen the devastation this awful disease would bring our family.
Melina requested to not have a burial, and we chose to respect her wishes. We humbly ask for help covering medical expenses not covered by insurance, end-of-life care costs, and the ongoing financial needs of raising our child during this time away from work. This fundraiser is a way to help ease that burden while honoring the love and care Melina gave so selflessly every day.
Your support will go directly toward:
• Covering outstanding medical and care-related expenses not covered by insurance
• Providing stability and support for Stephanie and Sebastian’s everyday needs
• Giving us the space to begin healing without the constant worry of financial strain
No contribution is too small, and every share means the world to us. If you’re able to help in any capacity, we are deeply grateful. Thank you for being part of our extended circle during this time of loss and transition.
With heartfelt thanks,
The Everhart Family
