In Loving Memory of Mary Henry — Support for Her Family & Celebration of Life

This week, our family was shattered by the sudden and unexpected loss of my Aunt Mary, who passed away from a heart attack while at work on Monday. Her passing has left a profound void in the lives of her children Derek and Danielle, granddaughter Leala, siblings Cindy, Sue and Joe, nieces, nephews, and an incredible community of friends who loved her deeply.

Mary was the kind of person who lit up a room with her laugh, her warmth, and her passion for life. She had a special love for Disneyland — not just for the rides and music, but for the joy, magic, and community it brought into her life. She built lasting friendships with those who joined her for rollercoaster meetups, live music nights, and day drinking under the California sky.

In the wake of her passing, Derek and Danielle are now faced with the emotional and financial challenge of arranging Mary’s affairs and the many unexpected costs that come with it. We hope to honor her memory in a way that truly reflects the joy and community she created — with a Celebration of Life event later this year that brings her loved ones together, Mickey ears in hand, as we cheers to her memory.

We’re asking for your support — whether it’s a donation, a share, or a kind word or memory — to help ease the burden on her children and give Mary the send-off she deserves. Every contribution will go toward:
