In Loving Memory of Liam - Midlands Air Ambulance

As we remember and celebrate the life of our loved one, Liam Mackenzie, we wanted to create this page in his memory. He was a cheeky chap, with a heart of gold and was a generous, kind soul.

On the day of Liam’s passing the Midlands Air Ambulance were in attendance among many other amazing public services. While Liam sadly didn’t make it, they were amazing and incredibly persistent to try and revive him. Sadly, he left us on the 20th November 2024, only a month before his 28th Birthday.

During his funeral service, in lieu of flowers, we invited Liam’s guests to make a donation if they wished, to the Midlands Air Ambulance. Some guests wanted to donate but couldn’t do so on the day.

We thought it would be nice to create this page on behalf of Liam for the Midlands Air Ambulance, not only to donate the initial contributions from the day of the funeral, which you will see as the starting fund of £80.60, but create a way for those who couldn’t donate at the time, or those who would like to contribute in Liam’s memory.

Your generosity will help continue their work to help save lives, and attend to those in need, much like they did for Liam.

The helicopter emergency medical service is funded solely by public donations and is responsible for treating patients involved in serious road traffic accidents, trauma cases or medical transfers, where rapid treatment and transport to a trauma hospital often becomes a matter of life or death.
