On Thursday, 11 June, our hearts were shattered. Lachlan O’Kane passed away suddenly and tragically at just 35 years old. He was a proud veteran, a devoted dad, a partner, a mate, and one of the most stand up blokes you could ever hope to meet.

Anyone who knew Kenny knows the truth. He was solid, loyal, generous, funny and dependable. He showed up for everyone without hesitation.

Now it is our turn to show up for his family.

Alex is one of the strongest people you will ever meet. This family has already carried more than most. Their eldest son has been through major surgeries and ongoing treatment, and they have faced challenge after challenge with courage and love.

They are an amazing family, but they have been dealt so much bad luck. Losing Kenny so suddenly has left them devastated and struggling to get through each day.

This fundraiser is to help ease the immediate financial pressure so Alex and the kids can survive and grieve. Rent, bills, food, the basics that no family should have to worry about while trying to process such a heartbreaking loss.
