My name is Kareena, and I’ve created this fundraiser in loving memory of my nephew Kerry and to support his young family.

On Sunday, 29th June, Kerry passed away after an incredibly short and heartbreaking battle with liver cancer — just weeks after receiving his devastating diagnosis.

He was a devoted husband to Danielle and a proud, adoring dad to two beautiful children, aged 7 & 3.

Kerry’s life was never easy. As a child, he faced serious health challenges and spent long periods in hospital. But despite it all, he grew into a kind, funny, and fiercely loving man. He gave everything he had to the people he cared about.

In his final days, Kerry’s greatest worry wasn’t for himself, but for those he was leaving behind. He worried that his children Nixxon and Brynlee might grow up without memories of their dad. He shared with heartbreak that, had he known what was coming, he might not have started a family — not out of regret, but because he never wanted them to feel this pain.

Kerry is deeply missed by Danielle, his beautiful children, his loving parents, his five younger sisters, and their families. His passing has left a hole in our lives that can never be filled.

This fundraiser has been created to help ease the immediate financial burden for Danielle and the kids during this unimaginably hard time. Donations will go directly toward day-to-day living expenses, and allowing Danielle the space to grieve and care for the children without added financial stress.
