In memory of John Mallory, for family support after suicide
Donation protected
It is with great sadness that we share the heartbreaking news of the passing of our beloved father, grandfather, uncle and friend, John Mallory. An Army veteran, a hardworking, fun loving, and “easy as it goes” simple kind of man.

John unexpectedly made a decision on Sunday November 10th 2024 that it would be his final day. Behind his strong exterior, he faced silent battles that many of us never fully understood.
John was a man of remarkable character, always ready with a helping hand and a kind word. His laughter filled any room, and his stories of service, drilling on oil rigs, and his life and times were a treat to all who heard them. However, like many veterans, and seemingly more and more men and women he carried the invisible scars of his life. Struggles that he kept hidden from those he loved to protect us from his pain.

Despite his unwavering strength and resilience, John struggled with the heavy burden of his past experiences. His battle with these internal demons was a path he walked alone, never letting on the depth of his suffering. His recent passing by suicide has left us all shattered and grappling with the enormity of our loss.

We are reaching out to you, our friends, family, and community, for support during this unimaginably difficult time. The funds raised will help cover the costs of funeral expenses, end of life expenses and final debts, also with assistance through the United States Veteran Affairs to create a lasting memorial in his honor, where his legacy and kindness can be remembered and celebrated.

Your support, whether through a donation or by sharing this campaign, means the world to us. Together, we can ensure that John’s story does not end with his passing but continues to inspire and bring awareness to the struggles faced by many veterans, and truly more aching souls than we know. We hope to advocate and forever stand for Suicide Awareness and treatment for Mental Health.

Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and consideration.
With deepest gratitude,
