In Loving Memory of John Madrid – A Beloved Coworker, Friend

It is with shattered hearts that we share the sudden and unexpected passing of our dear friend and coworker, John Madrid.

John was so much more than just a GCC teammate—he was family. The kind of person whose smile could light up a room, whose laugh was contagious, and whose presence made even the toughest days better. Whether you knew him for a moment or a lifetime, you knew what it meant to be cared for, supported, and truly seen.

His loss has devastated everyone who had the privilege to know him.

As we grieve this unimaginable loss, our hearts are also with his loved ones—especially his family, who is now facing not only the pain of losing their son, but the heavy financial and emotional weight that comes with it. And incredibly, as if this tragedy weren’t already too much, John’s wife is currently in the hospital enduring multiple surgeries in ICU. The pain this family is enduring is beyond comprehension.

We are raising funds to help ease the burden for John and Jessica's family during this heartbreaking time—supporting them with funeral costs, ongoing household needs, and anything they might need as they stand beside Jessica in the fight of her life.

John gave us all so much—laughter, loyalty, friendship, and love. Let us now return that love by lifting up his family the way he always lifted others.
