In Loving Memory of Joe and Laurie

As you may know, our friend Joe recently passed away after a short battle with COVID, and his wife, Laurie, passed away after a battle with cancer in 2017. We want to help their 18-year-old son, Peter, who is finishing his senior year in high school and wants to attend college in the fall. Until we can get Joe's and Laurie's financial affairs and insurance settled, we want to raise money to help keep Peter afloat: there is are funeral costs, a mortgage and property taxes, groceries, and utilities that need to be paid. Anything you can help with is appreciated. Joe and Laurie were loving, wonderful people and they did everything they could for their son. Let's show our love  for Joe and Laurie by helping care for their son.

Updated 5/13/2021: Hi everyone, just a few things to mention here. The progress made has been INCREDIBLE. Thank you all so very, very much. For those of you who may not know me, my name is Rosemary Kiladitis, and became friends with him, and shortly after, Laurie, when we were all in college. Like all of you, Peter is so special to me because he's Joe and Laurie's son, and a great kid. When I heard the news about Joe, all I wanted to do was find a way to get Peter taken care of in the middle of this madness, and you all joined in. Thank you. With the money raised, we've so far helped pay for Joe's memorial and a mortgage payment on their home, so Peter and his pets will be able to stay in their home - one less thing for a young man to worry about. The rest of the funds will be taking care of groceries, utilities, and other finance needs that arise as we wait for Joe's and Laurie's estates to be settled and put into Peter's name. Thank you all again for everything you've done to help keep our friend's son safe and healthy in the middle of the worst possible time.
