In Loving Memory of Jo-Anne Therese

One of the many services that the Mt Druitt Palliative Care unit provided to Jo-Anne whilst she was in their care, was hand, feet, shoulder and neck massages – and we all know how much Jo loved a massage!

Following in the footsteps of Jo, we were looking for a way to give back, and with the lack of government funding and in lieu of sending flowers, we decided to raise funds to donate an electronic massage chair to the Mt Druitt Palliative Care ward in memory of our beloved Jo, so that the family and friends of the patients, as well as the incredibly dedicated, angelic nursing staff, have the opportunity to take a minute for themselves and have a little TLC whilst they are supporting, caring and spending precious moments with loved ones.

In the event that we receive an abundance of funds, we will either purchase multiple chairs or make a donation to the National Breast Cancer Foundation using the remainder of the funds.
