Hello, my name is Nikki Braam and I had the most esteemed honor of being Hunter Colbert's aunt. Sadly, Hunter passed away from a car accident on the evening of Saturday, April 22, 2023.
Hunter was beloved by all those that knew him. He was a great son, an only child to my sister and brother-in-law. I know everyone thinks this about their family but he was a great man. A man that would help anyone in need, and happily, without expecting anything in return. He was hard-working and good at anything he did.
He was approaching his 5th year working for the wonderful city of Excelsior Springs in Wastewater Plant management and enjoyed his career with his incredible colleagues/friends. He had many talents such as smoking cheese, riding dirt bikes, mechanics, and running a catering business with his dad. However, his most important and fulfilling job was being a new father and providing for his fiance and by all accounts his wife Rose, and 9-month-old baby, Charlie.
Hunter worked hard to cultivate a beautiful life for himself and his family, he purchased a home in December of 2022; thus leaving a mortgage along with other bills to be dealt with. Rose asks for nothing and gives her heart and consideration to all whom she knows. In honor of Hunter, we hope to maintain his dream for his family and provide them with a sense of security. If you would like to support Rose and her family, any support or contribution would be greatly appreciated.
We thank you for reading this and for any support or contribution.
With love and gratitude,
Nikki Braam and the Family of Hunter Colbert
