On November 16th, our world changed forever when my sister, Heather Cummings, passed away unexpectedly. She was far too young, with so much life left to live, and her three beautiful children — McKenzie, Levi, and Autumn — were left without their mother in an instant. Heather was their protector, their comfort, and their safe place in this world. Now, they need all of us to be that for them.

McKenzie, at just 22 years old, is stepping up in an incredible way to care for her younger brother and sister. She is also expecting a baby of her own, and is facing the unimaginable challenge of grieving her mother while preparing to welcome her own child. We want to make sure McKenzie can focus on supporting Levi and Autumn, and on her own health and well-being, without the added stress of financial worries.

I am raising funds to support Heather’s children as they face this unimaginable loss. The money raised will go directly toward their daily care and essentials, including clothing, food, and school needs. It will also help with childcare, provide long-term stability, and ensure that McKenzie, Levi, and Autumn have a future that reflects the love Heather gave them every day of her life. With the holidays approaching, these funds will also help make this Christmas and future holidays special for the children, bringing them comfort and joy during a difficult time.
